Welcome to the place where cakes look good, taste even better, and stay with you long after the last bite.

For some people, when they think of baked goods, they think flour, sugar, eggs, and a little frosting. Simple as that. And that's totally fair—but I'm prooooobably not the right baker for the job if that's you.

From our first conversation to the finishing touches, I'm the one behind your bake at every step—making sure it turns out even better than you hoped. That means hours spent brainstorming details with you, sourcing the best local ingredients, and carefully decorating every element by hand. I believe in baking treats that spark childhood memories, inspire new traditions, and encourage you to indulge in something special—whether it's for a celebration or no reason at all.

Hi, I’m Andrea

Nap lover, miniature collector, and forever pursuing the perfect cinnamon roll. I believe that baking comes from a place of love, and that nothing is more disappointing than biting into a beautiful baked good only to find the flavor profile falls flat.

I'm not just here to bake a pretty cake (although if that's what you're looking for—I'm on it). I'm here to create something truly special. You won't find me cutting corners with cheap bulk ingredients or settling for "good enough." I'm here to deliver baked goods that taste as good as your family's secret recipe and make you nostalgic for baking with grandma at the holidays.

Growing up in a Japanese-Mexican-American household, sharing meals and preparing food for loved ones was a love language in itself, one that’s been passed down in my family through generations. I have my mom to thank for teaching me the importance of scraping the mixing bowl—and for letting me tag along to Wilton cake decorating classes, where I'd watch her meticulously prepare her cakes and frostings. Years later, I made my best friend a two-tiered cake for her 21st birthday. Confession: it wasn't exactly the best-looking cake. But it tasted delicious, and brought her joy—something that has become one of my favorite parts of the job.

It wasn't until grad school that I started baking more consistently, despite being busier than ever. Studying far from home, baking provided comfort and connection to my family, plus a creative release when I needed a break from paper writing or cramming for exams.

Fast forward to 2020—like so many others during the pandemic, I found myself with an unexpected abundance of free time and dedicated myself to doing the things I'd always said I didn't have time for, like finding the perfect buttercream (spoiler alert: it's not American buttercream). Countless hours of baking culminated in crafting a two-tier cake to celebrate my in-laws' 50th anniversary in 2023. I put my years of practice and recipe testing to use, and the cake was a huge success. From the guests to the caterer, I received such encouraging feedback that I decided to give my baking business a real go.

So here we are. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, treating yourself to something special, or simply craving a slice of cake or cookie that's worth the indulgence, I'm here to bake something beautiful and delicious—made with love, from scratch, just for you.

Favorite flavor combo:

I’ve been really loving coffee-chocolate combos lately. I don’t drink coffee often, but I’d have it every day in dessert form!

Favorite thing to bake:

Cake will always be my answer to this question. From mixing batters to achieve the perfect crumb, to layering fillings and frostings so every bite is perfect. So satisfying!

A dessert I think is over-rated:

Not a dessert exactly, but I think fondant is highly overrated! If you’re wanting a fondant-covered cake then I’m not the baker for you (sorry!!)
